Over the years, I’ve been able to work on side projects with smaller finite teams if not entirely by myself. The work here lands under that description. The designs were made for a handful of clients used for brand identity, digital marketing, presentations, marketing videos, packaging, web and more. Each piece follows a color story and has a purpose to every design choice made. Illustration techniques were used for a few of the projects.

Maze Therapeutics
MazeTx.com
Role:
Ui Designer
Task:
After the brand identity was created, it was up to me to give Maze Therapeutics a digital identity. The site was needed mostly for future hires, investors and an overall need to look modern and inclusive. I went with a hard edge and geometric design to align with Maze’s background and included lowercase Graphik as their main HTML font. Utilizing this font and progressive photography helped the brand obtain the modern approach of Maze.

Reducing Travel Chaos
Role:
Vector Illustration
Task:
Based off a set storyboard, I created the aesthetic and style of the characters for the first 8 frames. Handed off to production after style was set.
Dawn & Claire
Identity for gag gifts
Role:
Creative Director & Visual Designer
Task:
The client knew they wanted a type based identity without a mark or mascot. While starting the business with lawn gnomes, they knew their future would be filled with creating and selling colorful, cute gag gifts. I explored many type sets and package designs before we landed on something that was uniquely Dawn & Claire. With the use of a black and white branding, the visual hierarchy will always align not taking focus off the product, but complimenting it instead.

While this site is mainly focused on leadership, design and direction, I routinely work on photography projects as well. I’ve done work for travel tourism, outdoor apparel companies, magazine documentaries and product.
